About HKB Publications

Founded with a vision to advance scientific knowledge, HKB Publications began its journey in 1997 with the launch of the Journal of Essential Oil-Bearing Plants by Har Krishan Bhalla. In 2004, the publishing house was formally established by Arvinder Singh Bhalla in honour of his late father’s dedication to academic excellence and scientific publishing.

Expanding its commitment to quality research, HKB Publications introduced two more scholarly journals in 2011: Analytical Chemistry Letters and Journal of Biologically Active Products from Nature. These additions broadened the platform’s scope and strengthened its contribution to the global scientific community.

A significant milestone was achieved in 2012 when HKB Publications entered into a co-publishing partnership with Taylor & Francis. This collaboration greatly enhanced the international visibility, accessibility, and academic impact of its journals.

Continuing its growth, HKB Publications further expanded its portfolio by launching the Journal of Advanced Microbiology, Drug Discovery and Development, and Food & Pharma International as open-access journals dedicated to promoting high-quality research and innovation.

Today, HKB Publications remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, peer review, and scholarly excellence.
