Instructions for authors
Manuscripts Submission
Manuscripts should be submitted as a single MS Word file / PDF file containing text, figures, tables and references by email to the Managing Editor (harkbhalla@yahoo.com). The submission will be acknowledged to the “Corresponding Author” within 48 hours. All submissions must be accompanied by a cover letter from the “Corresponding Author” indicating his / her contact address, telephone/fax numbers and e-mail address with the declaration that the article has not been published previously and is not currently submitted for review to any other journal, and will not be submitted elsewhere before one decision is made. The language of the journal is English. All the manuscripts submitted are examined with the help and contribution of the well-established scientists around the globe. Authors may also suggest three potential reviewers for the manuscript in the “Cover Letter”. Copyright belongs to the publisher upon acceptance of the manuscript. The contents of papers shall be the sole responsibility of the authors and publication shall not imply the concurrence of the Editors or Publishers. There are no page charges. Manuscripts not accepted for publication will not be returned to the authors.
Responsibility of the author(s)
(i) To obtain written permission from the copyright owners and credit the source(s) in the article if excerpts from other copyrighted works are included
(ii) To accept the factual accuracy of the data presented and should obtain any authorization necessary for publication.
(iii)To provide correct nomenclature of compounds in accordance with IUPAC rules.
Manuscript presentation
Manuscripts must be typed double spaced with margins of one inch (2.5 cm) at the top, bottom and the sides and all pages numbered starting form the title page. Lines should be numbered in the margins with a continuous numbering from the start of the manuscript. 12 pt Times New Roman fonts must be used and remain uniform throughout the text. The manuscript should be divided into (i) title page, (ii) second page with abstract (maximum 300 words for full papers and reviews or 200 words for short communications) without the use of references) followed by 3-5 key words, (iii) introduction (state the objectives of the investigation with an adequate background), (iv) materials and methods (provide adequate details to enable others to reproduce; previously reported methods should be cited by a reference with a brief description of modifications; physical and spectroscopic data of the compounds isolated, provide adequate details of the experimental biological material such as herbarium deposit site and voucher number, location, month and year of collection in case of the material cultivated or from a natural habitat, and strain designation number and the culture collection in which they are deposited in case of microorganisms; use SI units), (v) results (clear and concise) and discussion (interpretation of the results), (vi) acknowledgments (should include credit to technical assistance, financial support and other appropriate recognition), (vii) references, (viii) tables, (ix) captions of figures, (x) figures and (xi) graphical abstract (summary of the contents preferably in a pictorial form) for table of contents of the Web edition of the Journal issue in which the article will appear). The language of the manuscript should have been edited by a native English speaking colleague before submission. The title page should contain title of the article with affiliation and addresses of all the authors, including corresponding author with an asterisk. The telephone and fax numbers and e-mail address of the corresponding author should be provided as a foot note on the title page. References should be cited in the text with superscript numbers. All entries in the reference list must correspond to references in the text and vice versa. The list of references should be on separate page. Authors bear the complete responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the references. References must follow following format:

Illustrations (figures and tables)
(i) All illustrations should be numbered with Arabic numerals and should be referred to in the text by their number (Fig. 1, Table 1).
(ii) Figures must be provided in JPEG / EPS formats. Photographs should be high-resolution JPEG files. The figure captions must be shown on separate page. Figures will appear black and white in printed edition of the journal. Color reproduction will be charged and will be at the discretion of the Editor and the Publisher.
(iii) Tables: should be self-explanatory and each table must be referred to in the text, provided suitable captions, typed on separate sheets, and placed after the references
(iv) Structural formulae of compounds: Use of Chem Draw or ISIS / Draw is preferred.
Proofs and reprints
Proofs will be emailed to the corresponding author indicated on the title page, and should be returned with corrections (complete and in one communication) within the indicated deadline. Authors are solely responsible for checking the proofs. Alterations caused from corrections of errors other than those due to the printers or editors, or addition of new text will be charged. The PDF file of the article as electronic reprint is provided free of charge to the corresponding author.
Book Reviews
Books for scientific reviews may be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal.
