Aim and Scope
Journal of Advanced Microbiology (JAM) aims to publish high-quality, peer-reviewed research that advances fundamental and applied aspects of microbiology and microbial sciences. The journal seeks to provide an international platform for innovative discoveries involving microorganisms and their applications in health, agriculture, industry, environment, biotechnology, and sustainability. The journal encourages interdisciplinary studies integrating molecular biology, genomics, bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, systems biology, and emerging microbial technologies to address global scientific and societal challenges.
The journal welcomes high-quality contributions in all major and emerging areas of microbiology, including medical, clinical, and pharmaceutical microbiology; molecular, cellular, environmental, agricultural, soil, food, and dairy microbiology; industrial microbiology, fermentation technology, and microbial biotechnology; virology, mycology, parasitology, microbial genetics, genomics, metagenomics, and microbiome research; antimicrobial resistance, infectious diseases, vaccine and diagnostic microbiology; synthetic biology, systems microbiology, bioinformatics, and computational microbiology; microbial nanotechnology, microbial enzymes, and biocatalysis; bioremediation, waste management, probiotics, and functional microorganisms; as well as public health, epidemiological, One Health, and zoonotic microbiology.
